Grilled mackerel (on the grill)

The fish cooked according to this recipe turns out very tasty and tender.

You will need:

  • Mackerel – 2 pcs.
  • Lemon – 1 pc.
  • Onion - 1 large
  • Spices "Universal seasoning with garlic" - to taste
  • A couple of sprigs of rosemary

Prepare the fish: thaw, cut off the head, remove all the entrails, and rinse thoroughly under running water. Let the fish rest for a while to remove excess moisture. Once the mackerel is slightly dry, rub it inside and out with "Universal Seasoning with Garlic." Thinly slice the onion, season with salt, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Place the prepared onion inside the mackerel, add a sprig of rosemary. Wrap the fish in foil and refrigerate for 2 hours. After 2 hours, remove the mackerel and place it on a grill with coals. Bake the fish for 20-25 minutes. If you don't have a grill, you can bake the fish in the oven. Baked vegetables are an ideal side dish.
