Turkey Pepper Steak

You will need:

  • Butter – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt
  • 2 large turkey steaks
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic pepper seasoning – 1 tbsp.

For the sauce:

  • Meat broth – 150 g
  • Butter – 1 tbsp.
  • Shallots – 2 onions
  • Heavy cream 20% - 150 g

Rub the meat on both sides with salt and Garlic Pepper Seasoning. Let the meat rest for 15-20 minutes. In a heavy-bottomed frying pan over high heat, melt the butter in the olive oil. Place the steaks in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer the meat to warmed plates and cover with a piece of foil.

While the meat is resting, prepare the sauce. Very finely chop the shallot and fry over medium heat for 2 minutes directly in the pan where the meat was fried. Add the beef broth and reduce the sauce over high heat for 10 minutes. Then add the cream and continue to reduce until medium thick. Finally, add salt to taste and ½ teaspoon of Garlic Pepper Seasoning. The sauce is ready. Mashed potatoes are ideal as a side dish.
